    OUCH!!

So two weeks ago I joined a gym.  Great special going on, free childcare, and literally 2 minutes from work.  When you join you get three free sessions with a personal trainer.  Yesterday was my last one.  I have been going in between as well, so I'm pretty used to the place now and my body doesn't feel like I am going to die any more when I get on the cardio machines.  Except for yesterday.
The first two sessions with the trainer were fine, basically showing me how to use the various machines, making me feel not so terrified.  Yesterday, though, was like a regular training session.  We worked muscles I didn't even know I had!  I hurt from my shoulders to my toes.
I know this is good for me!  I want the jigglies to go away and I also do not want my hypoglycemia to develop into diabetes when I am older, so this is a good thing I am doing....
    But ouch!!

    How is this happening????

I have no idea why this is happening... Well I know why biologically, but I was so unprepared for this!  Last weekend my daughter had a lump come up in her chest.  She complained about it hurting constantly, and it had me  quite worried.  So on Monday I took her to the doctor.  After checking it out and doing a few xrays, he determined it was an infection and prescribed a round of antibiotics and to call if it didn't go away by the end of the week.  It didn't.  It didn't change at all!  So I called his office back on Friday and the nurse talked to him and he said he didn't know what else it could be and recommended we take her to a pediatrician, who could refer to a specialist if needed.  Okay, I was concerned to begin with, after that I was petrified!  So this Monday my husband and I both left work early and took her to a pediatrician in town.  Wonderful staff there too!  Too bad we didn't find that office years ago!  Anyway, the nurse practicioner examined her and checked out her xrays and records from the other visit.  Turns out Emma is just "developing" already!  My goodness the girl is only eight!!  I was totally unprepared for this so soon...
Of course the visit led to all kinds of questions later from her, like "what was she talking about?  What is a period?"  All kinds of things like that.  But I survived the questions, and thankfully she is comfortable enough to ask the questions.  I hope we keep to this pattern.
